Yesterday, Aaron Long from the MDI YMCA visited the library and provided a day camp for island youngsters.  Fun was had during activities inside and out with Harry Potter as the theme.  Magic wands and brooms were made, dragon mucous (the kids used another word) was created, tunnels and caves dug and treasures found as the kids took part in the program.

Later in the day we fired up the popcorn machine just as Brad Ames was dropping by.  One of our oldest community members had a wonderful time chatting with a couple of our youngest community members while snacking on fresh popped popcorn.
