For several months, the board of SIES has been discussing the planned retirement of the Library’s executive director Jeanne Hoyle. We could not imagine finding someone to fill her shoes. We have.
We are beyond thrilled to announce that Olivia Jolley will become our new executive director beginning September 1st. Olivia has been on Swan’s as an Island Institute Fellow with the Historical Society since 2022. Between now and September, Olivia will be spending time with Jeanne “learning the ropes.”
